The monsoon rains of 2022 hit the middle and southern Sindh causing some of the worst floods seen in Pakistan. Entire communities are struggling to restore their livelihoods. Resources are limited, and even the most basic necessities are difficult to obtain. Amidst this sorrow, something critical is missing: a place to pray, seek solace, and find strength in faith. Mosques are more than buildings to Muslims; they are the beating centre of their communities and a source of renewed faith and a sense of connection with the Almighty Allah SWT.

Babulilm Foundation revives this sacred space with your backing. The project has so far built 40 mosques in flood-hit areas to restore both physical and spiritual bonds of these communities. Muslims join their faith with a single sound of the call to prayer which teaches that Allah’s mercy knows no limits. Muslim children discover their faith while families seek their spiritual base to find peace. A mosque plays a transformative role in the life of a Muslim. It fosters unity, promotes charity, and inspires acts of kindness that ripple far beyond its walls.
